Please note that the sheet and plate sizes for British Entomology were:

Sheet:   9 x 6 ins   (245 x 155 mm)
Plate:    8 x 5 ins         (205 x 125 mm)

Because of the ultra-high resolution techniques used and the very
fine detail to be found in all of Curtis's prints, we normally print A4
size prints slightly enlarged. At the original size much of the fine
detail can be very difficult to see without the use of a magnifying
glass. If, however, you prefer your print to be at the original plate
size, please be sure to let us know when ordering.
